Homework For Tomorrow

Alsalam Alaykum Dear Parents and Students,

Language Homework for Tomorrow:

-Pages 65, 66 and 67 in Communicating Skills Book.

Just a reminder, tomorrow is Toonie Tuesday. On the first Tuesday of every month, students may choose to wear non-uniform clothes. Just remember, you must give a Toonie to your homeroom teacher each time you participate.

Jazakom Allah Khairan and have a wonderful day Insha'Allah.

Best regards,
Teacher Ghadeer.

Introduction Letter

Assalamu-Alaikum Dear Parents.

My name is Teacher Ghadeer and this will be my second year teaching at Abraar School. I look forward to getting to know my grade 6 students. This year, I will be a homeroom teacher for Grade 6B.

I am an OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher) who has graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Language and Literature and French Studies. I also have a Bachelor of Education Degree.

Throughout my Practicum blocks and teaching at Abraar School, I have had a wide variety of experiences that have helped me prepare for this year. In the past, I have taught grades 3, 8, 9 and 10. I believe the combination of my academic and practicum experiences have provided me with a skill set that would be of a benefit to your children Insha'Allah.

The journey has so far been a lot of work, but it has been well worth it. Each classroom contains unique students with different experiences, and this year will not be any different. I have enjoyed each experience along the way and I am much looking forward to getting to know your children.
